We collect personal information from our customers in the regular course of doing business. This brochure answers some of your most frequently asked questions, and lets you know exactly how we're protecting the information you entrust to us.

What personal information do you collect about me?

We collect the following information about you:

  • Date of Birth/Age
  • Gender
  • Health/medical information

When you visit our web site, we may also collect:

How do you use this information?

The main reasons we collect personal information from you are:

  • Managing your membership
  • To complete a sale/transaction
  • Member communication
  • Affiliate membership registration

If it's a necessary part of any of these transactions, we may disclose your information to another company. For example, when you apply for membership, we pass on some personal information to a credit processing agency so we can complete payment processing. We also pass on your name and address to affiliate programs to complete membership registration on your behalf (e.g. Triathlon Ontario membership and Mattamy National Cycling Centre Track membership through the Town of Milton).

As noted above, some information is provided to Triathlon Ontario and the Town of Milton to process memberships required by Tornado Triathlon club members to enable regular club functions. Only the minimum information is provided to obtain these memberships.
